TexBazaar Private Limited (“TexBazaar”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. TexBazaar is a textile marketplace app for yarn, fabric, stock material, business enquiries, listings, news and textile calculators. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect information when you use The TexBazaar website, Android application and associated services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information we may collect
- Account and contact information: name, mobile number, email address, password, address, company or business details and profile information.
- Marketplace information: yarn or fabric requirements, listings, posts, enquiries, quotations, saved addresses and other information you submit while using the app.
- Communications: chat messages, feedback and support requests you send to us.
- Device and usage information: device type, operating system, application version, IP address, language, features used, diagnostics and crash logs needed to operate, secure and improve the Services.
- Notifications: notification preferences and a device notification token when you choose to receive app updates and alerts.
- Subscriptions: subscription status and related purchase identifiers provided by Google Play. We do not collect or store full card, UPI or bank-account details.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts; provide marketplace features; show listings and enquiries; connect buyers and suppliers; operate calculators and app tools; process membership access; provide support; send service notifications; improve performance and security; prevent misuse; maintain records; and comply with legal obligations.
3. How information may be shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share relevant information only as reasonably necessary with:
- buyers, sellers, suppliers, associated manufacturing partner mills or other users as needed for marketplace listings, enquiries and transactions;
- service providers supporting hosting, communications, analytics, notifications, customer support, security or logistics, subject to appropriate safeguards;
- payment platforms such as Google Play for subscription and membership processing;
- professional advisers, regulators, courts or government authorities when required by law or to protect legal rights; and
- a successor organisation in connection with a merger, restructuring or transfer of business, with legally appropriate notice and safeguards.
4. Permissions and third-party services
The Android application may request only those device permissions needed for a feature you choose to use. Where Android provides runtime controls, you may deny or withdraw a permission through your device settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable. Links to third-party websites or services are governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal, tax or regulatory obligations.
You may delete your account inside the TexBazaar app by opening More and selecting Delete. You may also follow our account-deletion instructions or email info@thetexbazaar.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, accounting or record-keeping purposes.
7. Your choices
You may update certain account details, opt out of non-essential promotional communications, change notification permissions in your device settings, or contact us regarding your privacy choices. Service-related messages may still be sent when necessary to operate an account or transaction.
8. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for textile businesses and adult users. They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.
9. International processing
As TexBazaar serves Indian and international markets, information may be processed in India or other countries where our service providers or business participants operate. We apply reasonable safeguards and handle information in accordance with applicable requirements.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our Services, technology or legal obligations. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
